Jasper Golden is my great great grandfather. He is the first person in my branch of the Golden family to emigrate to Canada from Ireland. This huge decision changed the future of generations to follow, so to me he is the most important person in this tree. He kept a journal of his trip across the Atlantic ocean and he kept several letters that he received from family and friends in Ireland. That journal and those letters are a treasure trove for researchers. He was a teacher and I think he would be pretty darn happy to know that he continues to teach well over a 150 years later.
I believe the following to be true, but I am concerned about William Golden born 1808. - New information has this William as being married to Bridget. If that turns out to be the case then we have the wrong William in this tree. I am attempting to prove it either true or false.
